Diagnostics

What a device diagnostic includes

What we check, what the written findings include, and how the $49 fee is credited toward approved repair labor.

A device diagnostic is a paid examination of one device so we can tell you what is actually wrong before any repair is approved.

What we check
- Hardware health: storage health, memory stability, temperatures and cooling, power supply, and connection integrity for critical components
- Software: operating system integrity, drivers, startup items, update status, and a check for malware, adware, or unwanted programs
- Networking: basic connectivity relevant to the reported issue

What the written findings include
- What was checked and what was found, per component
- Causes ranked by risk to your data and uptime
- Recommended repairs matched to our published services, with written labor quotes

How the fee credit works
- The diagnostic is $49, paid for the exam
- That $49 is credited once toward approved repair labor on the same device
- Not credited for parts-only work, declined repairs, or a second diagnostic on the same device
- One diagnostic credit per device

What a diagnostic never promises
- No guarantee that it will catch every possible fault; it covers what is present at the time of the check
- It is not a data-recovery or backup service
- No repair is performed without your written approval and quote
