Service agreement and recurring-card consent
Service agreement • Menard’s Technology Services LLC. General business policies approved November 7, 2026. This publication draft is informational; legal and tax review has not been completed. It is not an agreement with you until the final agreement and your customer-specific schedule are signed, and separate billing consent is required before activation or collection. Viewing this page, requesting help or saving a payment method does not create an agreement, activate service or authorize any charge. This page is not a signature or payment form.
1. Our agreement and your service schedule
Menard’s Technology Services LLC provides appointment-based technology support for eligible homes and small businesses. Your signed service agreement and customer-specific schedule identify you or your business, your authorized representative, the selected plan, covered devices and locations, agreed work, included time, exclusions, review schedule and charges. Only services expressly accepted in that schedule are covered. No appointment or service availability is promised merely by requesting it.
Before activation, we verify your contact information, review device and environment eligibility, agree service boundaries, obtain the signed agreement and schedule plus separately expressly accepted recurring-card consent including the retry terms, confirm billing and send written activation confirmation. A catalog entry, website form, portal request, booking request or payment-method submission alone is not enrollment and is not permission to charge you. Publishing this page is not your consent.
Your schedule will state service geography and onsite travel arrangements, activation date, first charge and renewal dates, monthly and one-time totals, applicable tax treatment, review-time accounting, labor increments, cancellation details and the version of the agreement you accept. Any agreed variation must be clearly identified in the signed schedule before service begins. We do not expand the scope or increase charges through an unaccepted website change.
2. Monthly plans and device limits
| Monthly plan — USD | Included capacity and support |
|---|---|
| Home Basic — $109 | 1 eligible computer; 30 remote-support minutes monthly; quarterly health/update review; customer-owned backup guidance. |
| Essential — $179 | Up to 3 eligible devices; 1 remote-support hour monthly; monthly health/update review; customer-owned backup check; priority appointment requests. |
| Home Complete — $299 | Up to 6 eligible devices; 2 remote-support hours monthly; monthly device health review; Wi-Fi/printer guidance; 1 scheduled onsite hour quarterly. |
| Business Care — $429 | Up to 10 eligible workstations; 2 remote-support hours monthly; monthly workstation review; backup/Microsoft 365 guidance; 1 scheduled onsite hour quarterly. |
| Business Protect — $779 | Up to 15 eligible workstations; 3 remote-support hours monthly; MFA/account-safety review; monthly backup verification; quarterly technology review. |
| Business Plus — $1,199 | Up to 25 eligible workstations; 5 remote-support hours monthly; 2 scheduled onsite hours quarterly; vendor/licensing coordination; quarterly planning summary. |
Home Basic includes discounted additional remote labor; your schedule states the actual discounted rate before you accept. For Business Protect, your reviewed schedule expressly states any onsite allowance and additional included care; do not assume an onsite entitlement from another plan. Remote service geography, device suitability and the precise review/backup tasks are confirmed in your schedule. Taxes, if applicable, and the amount to be billed are disclosed before acceptance; the listed prices do not settle tax treatment.
Home Complete Plus can add eligible computers beyond the six-device base for $35 per computer per month, plus $50 one-time onboarding per added computer, with a maximum of ten supported residential devices total. This allows at most four added computers above the base. Each added computer requires eligibility review, written approval and an updated schedule. Larger or more complex environments require assessment and a custom quote rather than automatic additional enrollment.
3. Appointments, limits and additional work
Appointments require confirmation and depend on current capacity. Human-support hours are Monday–Friday, 6–9 PM Central, and Saturday, 9 AM–noon Central. Sunday is unavailable. Priority requests affect triage within working hours, not a guaranteed response or completion time. Emergency support, 24/7 support or monitoring, immediate onsite response, and guaranteed response or resolution times are not included.
Plans are not unlimited support. Monthly time applies to each monthly service period from activation; quarterly time applies to each consecutive three-month period from activation. Unused allowances do not roll over and have no cash value, subject to the provider-failure remedy below. Your schedule defines whether reviews consume included time, how time is recorded and billed, and any agreed treatment of appointment changes. Contact us as soon as possible if an appointment must change; changing an appointment does not itself cancel your plan.
We stop at the approved scope or included-time limit and obtain written approval before additional work or cost. The approval identifies the task, rate or fixed price, time estimate or spending limit, and any separately authorized card charge. Parts, hardware, software licenses, projects, travel, after-hours work and third-party or specialist services are separate unless expressly included. Additional work is not automatically authorized by your monthly card consent.
Business-critical systems, regulated records, compliance audits or certification, penetration testing and emergency incident response are outside current scope. Servers, advanced networking, multi-location environments, unsupported software and failing hardware require review and may need a different scope or specialist. Assessment is not a promise of acceptance or recovery.
4. Your accounts, access, licenses and backups
You confirm you own or are authorized to manage the devices, systems, accounts and data involved, and authorize access separately for the agreed work. You purchase agreed parts, licenses and subscriptions directly through your own accounts after compatibility and scope review. You remain the owner of those accounts and subscriptions. Software resale or partner billing is not included.
Keep password and recovery-code entry under your control. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, full card or bank details, regulated records or unrelated private information through email, chat, forms or tickets. Begin remote support only for a confirmed session after checking the connection instructions and reviewing the software’s permission prompts. No ongoing unattended access is granted merely by enrolling in a plan.
Maintain current backups before work on a device or its data. Your scope identifies any backup, transfer or recovery work and the steps you approve. A health review examines the agreed items, such as updates, free space and security/performance status, and may lead to recommendations requiring a separate quote. A backup check examines the agreed jobs, destination and a sample restore; it establishes only what was tested at that time, not recoverability of every file or protection from later changes. Backup assistance does not guarantee recovery or zero data loss. Advanced recovery may require a separately arranged specialist. Security reviews do not guarantee that every security problem will be found or prevented.
5. Monthly billing, changes and failed payments
Your plan renews monthly until canceled. Monthly plan and approved recurring device fees are billed in advance on your activation anniversary. If that day does not occur in a month, billing occurs on that month’s last day and returns to the original anniversary when available. Your signed schedule discloses the first charge, period covered and renewal date. Separately itemized and approved onboarding is charged at activation only after the agreement, eligibility and billing-consent requirements are complete.
At launch, plan and device changes take effect at the next renewal after eligibility review and your written agreement; mid-cycle plan changes and change proration are not offered. Cancellation and provider-failure refunds are handled below. We give at least thirty days’ notice of a proposed recurring price change and obtain your agreement before charging the changed amount. If you do not agree, we will arrange the service end date with you without charging the unaccepted increase. Tax treatment and any resulting total are disclosed in the agreed schedule before collection.
We provide a receipt or billing record for each charge through the agreed channel. If payment fails, we send payment-failure emails and contact you to arrange secure payment updating and resolve how further work will proceed. Only after you separately expressly accept the recurring-card authorization including its retry terms may we make up to three automatic retries of a failed, authorized and still-unpaid monthly plan or approved recurring device charge. A retry is another attempt to collect that unpaid charge, not a new monthly renewal charge or permission for a new amount or unapproved extras. We do not retry an invoice already paid. This policy does not impose late fees or interest or automatic suspension. Saving a card does not replace your separate recurring-payment authorization.
Payment failure does not itself cancel your plan. If the final retry fails, the invoice remains unpaid and open, and the subscription continues renewing monthly until canceled under Section 6. We contact you to resolve unpaid amounts and how further work will proceed; no automatic suspension or termination deadline is imposed here. Continuing renewal does not authorize unapproved services or collection beyond your accepted card authorization. Your cancellation, refund and provider-failure rights remain unchanged.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges under Section 6, and no retry may occur after cancellation takes effect. Revoking recurring-card authorization stops all future automatic collection, including retries, on receipt under Section 7. Any amount validly owed is addressed separately without further automatic debits after revocation.
6. Cancellation, refunds and service problems
You may cancel by emailing tech@menardsecit.com at any time, without a cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect when we receive the request, or on a later date you request. We acknowledge cancellation and confirm the service end date and stop future renewal charges. Prepaid plan and recurring device fees for unused full days after the effective cancellation date are refunded within ten business days, calculated using the actual number of days in that billing period. Completed onboarding or separately approved work is accounted for individually; this agreement does not make every payment nonrefundable.
If we end service, we return unearned prepaid fees. If we cannot deliver an included service and suitable rescheduling is not possible, we offer a fair credit or refund agreed with you for the undelivered portion. We do not treat Provider-caused inability to supply included service as simple forfeiture of your allowance. These remedies do not limit applicable rights.
Send billing, service or refund questions to tech@menardsecit.com with your service reference, without payment-card details. Contact us about a problem so we can review the scope, work and appropriate remedy with you. Any end-of-service arrangement should address customer-owned access and accounts. No arbitration requirement, liability cap, blanket refund waiver or waiver of statutory rights is imposed by this text.
7. Separate recurring-card consent — sample only
This sample is not an effective authorization. It becomes usable only with a finalized customer-specific billing schedule and separate customer signature or recorded acceptance of the final card authorization including the retry terms, in addition to the signed service agreement. Do not enter card information or sign on this page. This is card consent only, not ACH or bank-account debit authorization.
“I authorize Menard’s Technology Services LLC, through its secure payment provider, to store a token for the card I separately provide through the secure hosted payment process and to charge only the monthly plan and specifically approved recurring device fees described in my signed billing schedule. That schedule states the USD amount, applicable taxes and total or clearly disclosed calculation, first charge date, service period and monthly renewal dates. Charges renew monthly until service is canceled or I revoke this authorization. No charge may occur from a catalog listing, portal request or this sample alone. I expressly authorize up to three automatic retries of a failed, authorized and still-unpaid monthly plan or approved recurring device charge, with payment-failure emails. These are attempts to collect the same unpaid charge, not new monthly renewal charges or permission for a new amount or unapproved extras. An already-paid invoice must not be retried, and no retry may occur after cancellation takes effect or after revocation of this authorization is received.”
“My signed agreement and schedule, completed eligibility review, this separately expressly accepted consent including the retry terms, confirmed billing and written activation confirmation are required before service activation or recurring collection. Any onboarding charge requires its own itemized approval of amount and timing. Extras or changes require separate written approval; this authorization is not open-ended permission for variable charges. I receive notice and agree to any recurring price change before it is charged. Signing the service schedule alone is not acceptance of this recurring-card or retry authorization.”
“I may revoke recurring-card authorization by emailing tech@menardsecit.com. Provider will stop future automatic collection, including retries, on receipt and acknowledge the request. Revoking card authorization is distinct from canceling service and does not itself determine any amount validly owed, but it does not permit further automatic debits. I may cancel service under the cancellation/refund policy above. I receive a receipt or billing record for each charge. I supply full payment details only through the secure hosted process, not in this agreement or by email, chat or ticket. I do not authorize ACH debits.”
